Passing parameters to the browser exe

Sep 8, 2009 at 3:33 AM

Love this application, great work mate.

Something that I think would be really hand is the ability to pass parameters when calling up the browser exe. Chrome in particular seems to use this a lot.

Eg. To launch chrome with proxy settings turned off, you set a shortcut for

     "C:\...blah...\chrome.exe" --proxy-server=

Useful in a corporate environment depending on what you're trying to do. Incognito mode, and probably other features work the same way. I don't see a way to do this within the app, correct me if I'm wrong!

The Beta 1 Release will let you set command line parameters for the browsers, but it's in the options setup, not an "on-the-fly" thing, but it works great for me, for enabling Google Chrome user scripts for example.
